This design and build project was for 160m large cantilevered bus shelter canopies which was part of a $30 million development of the new Otahuhu train station.  The shelters are particularly large cantilevered structures with a height and width of 3.5m each.  It was critical for the design to be consistent with the main station design and for the canopies had to fit around and tie into a number of building elements.   The canopies have a structured roof with lighting and hidden drainage connecting though to below ground drainage.  CAM was also responsible for the pile foundation design.  CAM won this contract a competitive tender process.
